Joisted XPS Foil System

A joisted system using a foil covered, pre-grooved insulation panel designed to be installed between joists offering a system with no additional floor build up.

50mm in height, the panel is secured between the joists supported on battens. 16mm pipe is tightly secured within the grooves and finishes flush with the top of the joists. Foil layer ensures even and effective heat distribution whilst the insulation panel counteracts downward heat loss.

 

Additional grooves added to the panels may be necessary to effectively follow system design layout.

 

Once laid, system can be pressure tested and monitored for 24 hours before 18mm engineered floor boards or tile backer boards are installed to joists to receive finished floor.

System can also be adapted to use 50mm EPS with Aluminium diffusion trays.
