Batten XPS Foil System

A low profile system using a foil covered, pre-grooved insulation panel installed between battens.

 

25mm in height, pre-grooved and covered in an aluminium layer, this system is compatible with both solid and timber floor constructions.

25mm battens are secured around the perimeter of the rooms and in lengths between the panels to suit the system design layout.

​

16mm pipe is tightly secured within the grooves and finishes flush with the top of the panel. Foil layer ensures even and effective heat distribution whilst the insulation panel counteracts downward heat loss.

Additional grooves added to the panels may be necessary to effectively follow system design layout.

​

Once laid, system can be pressure tested and monitored for 24 hours before 18mm engineered floor boards or tile backer boards are installed to battens to receive finished floor.

​

Panels are available in both 150 and 200 centres to suit various heat source requirements.
