Biscuit Screed System

A joisted system using rigid PIR insulation and a biscuit screed mix designed
to be installed between joists offering a system with no additional floor build
up.

The insulation is secured between the joists supported on battens. 16mm pipe is clipped to the insulation with a 25-30mm dry screed mix laid on top, finishing 
flush with top of joists. Screed acts as a thermal mass whilst the insulation panel counteracts downward heat loss.

Once laid, system can be pressure tested and monitored for 24 hours before
18mm engineered floor boards are installed to joists to
receive finished floor.
