Cliprail System

One of our most popular systems, ideal for new builds, it provides a fast, flexible and very effective system for heating a room within a screeded floor build up.

Rigid PIR insulation is laid on the subfloor with an edging insulation strip laid to the perimeter.

Lengths of cliprail are installed to the insulation and used to hold 16mm pipe in place before barbed pipe clips are used to secure pipe into the floor insulation following system design and layout.

Once laid, the system is pressure tested and monitored for 24 hours before screeding to receive the finished floor.

System is compatible with both traditional sand/cement and liquid pour screeds. 

Sand/cement to be laid at 65-70mm. Liquid screed to be laid at 45-50mm with additional installation of taped and waterproof barriers.
